Indecision. What did I do with them at the time.
Let go. I can’t. This is driving me nuts.
I am definitely stuck on this issue though.
Is it possible I did throw them away and refuse to believe it?
Needless sacrifice. Guilt. I do feel guilty.

Stick to the facts, jack:

I was packing the house up because of Irma. Into storage buckets and into a storage rental. Came across the cards late in the game. I believe I put them into a box that was going to stay here, thinking that if I did lose the house, I could replace the cards.

Impulsive. Did I throw them away impulsively, rushing into it without giving thoughts to the consequences? I don’t believe so. While I am an impulsive thrower-outer, I wouldn’t throw these decks (there are at least 2 decks) away. IF I was going to throw them away, I would have thrown them ALL away. I would not have thrown away my favorite decks.

As well, at the time, authorities were trying to minimize/limit garbage pickup, so most could be dedicated to clearing neighborhoods of debris that could really do damage if left to blowing around.

Unexpected event: hurricane. Rushing around to pack everything up, we were going to a shelter (against my FERVENT desire not to.)

While typing this up, something else occurred to me. Maybe *I* didn’t throw them out. King of Swords and Knight of Rods. My other half and our son…who did most of the moving of buckets into storage.

In summary, while the cards themselves say yes, I’m still not convinced. The cards captured the energy though, of what was going on the last time I saw them.
