I was going to do a Rod Rosenstein spread and decided not to. Here’s why.

He’s already stated he won’t quit. Trump will have to fire him. If he gets fired, two things will happen:

1. Americans will pitch a fit and hit the streets. See:

2. This will be definite obstruction of justice

I don’t believe he will resign, and if he gets fired, I’m reasonably comfortable with the idea that there are at least a couple of backup plans in place. These guys aren’t stupid.
