Seven of Rods

The Seven of Rods is the main card, but also got Judgement reversed.

Seems like the Seven of Rods is pushing back against that Judgement card.

Interesting. Couldn’t resist looking this up (Judgement) and it’s nothing like what I thought….

A man holds a rod in his hand pushing back against others. When I first took a look at this card, it looked like the man in the picture was holding handlebars – to a motorcycle, bike, jackhammer, etc. Driving his point home.

He is blonde. He is holding something at bay – but what? There are no people in the image. The man is dressed in heavy clothing – and standing on a snow covered ground. There are mountains in the background. It’s cold. The man is wearing a red belt and cape, beige-ish tunic, green pants and brown boots. He has a smile on his face like he is enjoying the struggle.

Standing his ground. Challenging or being challenged. Taking a stand. Lots of competition. You can’t please everyone. Be careful: you are not invincible.

What are you questioning?
What are you keeping control of?
Who is opposing you?
What puts you above the rest?

I don’t feel any particular kind of way when I look at this card: it’s one of those cards where it depends on the situation or reading as to what kind of emotions it might evoke. I tend to see it as neutral, though it could be bad, good or neutral.
