Eight of Rods

Lots of action, movement. Things are moving quickly. It’s going to be another one of those days.

The Eight of Rods is generally a positive card. I don’t get a sense of fear or dread when looking at it.

Eight wooden sticks have flowers on the ends that have not bloomed as yet. The rods are wrapped with red ribbon – a gift, perhaps? Celebration? There’s alot going on in this card: mountains in the background, foreground the ground is green, yet there is a pine tree and an area with snow. There is a small creek flowing – or maybe it’s snow melting. The sky is yellow. Why yellow?

The eight rods seem to be coming at me yet away from me at the same time. They come from out of nowhere. Where will they land?

Manifestation: ended up with a quick “needs to be done now!” job. It came about because the customer dropped the ball in the middle of discussions – they have a tendency to not listen to me, so I’m stuck waiting on them. They wait until it’s an emergency situation. On the plus side: the job is finished.

There was an earthquake in Alaska today, a big one, and George HW Bush died.
